My name is Becky, and I’m 30-something (ish).
I am also a coffee fiend (hence– the header ).
I’m a single/divorced mother of three (2 teenage boys and one preteen girl) who shares custody (usually peacefully) with their military father and his new wife. It’s an unusual arrangement (kids go to school way over there and summer and vacation up here), but we make it work.
I recently relocated from Nebraska where our little family spent the bulk of the kids growing up years back to New England to be closer to my dad and my siblings after my Mother passed away. It’s been an interesting few years.
I am a residential adviser for a company in North Conway, NH that provides residential and community based rehabilitation services for individuals with traumatic brain injury, autism spectrum disorder, developmental disability. I love my job and the clients that I get to work with. They make me a better person.
If You Give A Girl a Cookie is a personal memoir and lifestyle blog where I write about books, food, fitness, family , and anything else that strikes my fancy.
