All you need:
1/2 c. unsalted butter, softened
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. sour cream, at room temperature
1 large egg, at room temperature
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp orange zest
3 c. flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 c. dried cranberries
1 c. pecan pieces
All you do:
- Cream butter and sugar. Beat in sour cream and egg. Stir in vanilla and orange zest.
- Stir in flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Fold in cranberries and pecans. Roll into 1-inch balls.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are beginning to turn golden. Cool on cookie sheet for 2 minutes before removing to wire rack to cool completely.
